Caroline Weed
FNP-C
Hi, I’m Caroline Weed, FNP-C, a Family Nurse Practitioner supporting individuals in PHP, IOP, and outpatient behavioral health services. I graduated from Columbus State University, and before becoming an FNP, I spent seven years as a registered nurse, primarily in emergency medicine, with additional experience in the ICU and briefly the PACU.
Originally from Columbus, Georgia, I moved to the Asheville area about two years ago. Asheville’s strong sense of community and its openness around mental health and recovery have deeply shaped my commitment to caring for individuals facing both mental health and substance use challenges. I value providing care that is compassionate, direct, and rooted in honesty. Supportive and straightforward with no judgment. My goal is always to meet patients where they are and help them take meaningful steps forward.
In addition to my work in behavioral health, I currently practice as an FNP in emergency medicine, allowing me to maintain a broad clinical skill set and continue serving patients in acute care settings.
Outside of work, I enjoy snow skiing during the winter months, traveling with friends, and spending time with my loyal labradoodle companion, Shaggy.
