About Caroline Weed Otter House Wellness Otter...
Caroline Weed is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) at Otter House Wellness, supporting individuals across PHP, IOP, and outpatient behavioral health services. She earned her degree from Columbus State University and brings a strong clinical foundation from seven years as a registered nurse, primarily in emergency medicine, with additional experience in the ICU and PACU. Originally from Columbus, Georgia, Caroline relocated to the Asheville area two years ago, where the community’s openness around mental health and recovery continues to shape her compassionate, honest approach to care.
Caroline is known for being supportive, straightforward, and nonjudgmental—meeting patients where they are and helping them take meaningful steps forward in both mental health and substance use recovery. In addition to her work in behavioral health, she continues to practice as an FNP in emergency medicine, maintaining a broad clinical skill set. Outside of work, she enjoys snow skiing, traveling with friends, and spending time with her labradoodle, Shaggy.
