Chris is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist as well as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He graduated cum laude with a BA in English Literature and earned his Masters in Social Work with the highest honors inducting him into Phi Alpha honors society.

Chris has worked in the field in many capacities with diverse populations. He has honed his clinical skills and core practicums working in many forums, such as: wilderness therapy, inpatient treatment facilities, outpatient treatment programs, intensive in-home work, as well as in the emergency department at the local hospital. In addition, Chris has maintained a private practice in his community for many years.

Chris is a former intelligence analyst who developed counterterrorism security measures for deep water ports and cargo ships. In addition, he has owned and operated a live music venue, and a mental health licensed substance abuse intensive outpatient program.

Chris is a photography enthusiast, musician, and amateur film maker. His favorite thing to do usually involves traveling or simply hanging out with his kid and their dog. On his days off he can be found with friends and family: hiking, sailing, scuba diving, and grilling in his back yard!
