Crystal Arriaga is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Otter House Wellness with more than 13 years of experience in substance use treatment and recovery-focused medical care. After completing her training at Pima Community College and passing the NCLEX in 2003, Crystal began her nursing career in Tucson, Arizona—an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for working with individuals striving for recovery. She has since worked across multiple modalities within substance use medicine, bringing both clinical skill and deep humanity to her role.

Crystal believes effective care starts with seeing the whole person, fostering an environment rooted in hope, and embracing the hard work that recovery requires. While she values the medical side of treatment, it is the human connection that drives her work. Outside of nursing, Crystal enjoys hiking, camping, backpacking, road trips, cooking, baking, crafting, fishing, and outdoor adventures—often alongside her Yorkie, Zeke, who shares her love for exploring.
